The best family ever! They have been so kind to me and very helpful. They made sure I was safe and texted me promptly. I really could not have asked for better! Really made my experience in Lima!!

I left my Colombian motorcycle with John for 12 months. Great experience, everything went smoothly and John ensured that all administration for suspending the TIP (CIT) was taken care of. The location is extremely convenient, Lima airport is 20 minutes by Uber. John is fluent in English and was very responsive via Email and Whatsapp. Thanks John (and your mother)!

John Sanchez is a life saver when it comes to doing the temporary import vehicle suspension paperwork and vehicle storage. I left Peru twice and both times I left my motorcycle behind in Peru. Both times John took care of the suspension paperwork when I left the country and then he lifted the suspension when I returned to Peru. This type of paperwork and contacts with government officials is not an easy task and I would never have attempted to do this on my own, but John took care of everything. The first time that I left Peru, John helped me store the motorcycle in Lima while I was out of the country. The second time I left Peru, John helped me find a vehicle repair shop in Puno that would store my motorcycle. So I was able to leave my motorcycle in Puno and he again took care of the paperwork for me. Then when I drove my motorcycle out of the country, there were no problems at the border with the prior paperwork and having done suspensions two times in a row while I was in Peru. If you plan to leave your vehicle in Peru and suspend the temporary import permit, John Sanchez is the #1 person you need to talk to!

We left our van with John for 10 days as we were going away for a few days. Everything was great & John and his mother were very friendly! John was also able to help us by phone during a corrupt police stop. John is always happy to help travelers and has lots of tips for a great trip to Peru. Thank you for that.

We stored our motorhome by John for about a month. He did all the paperwork for the suspension while we were traveling back to Europe. He answered all our WhatsApp messages very fast and he was always very helpful. Thanks to John for his good job!

We stored our motorhome for 2 1/2 months while travelling back home for the festive season.
John (who speaks fluent English) made all necessary steps to suspend and reinstate the TIP during the storage.
We stayed there a few weeks to visit Lima, renting the apartment above the garage. That was very convenient as we could go any time in our vehicle.
John and his family are the most kind and helpful people we met in Peru. They made us feel to be part of the family.

We used John for all of his services and he was outstanding. Camping facility has everything you need as long as your vehicle fits, John has worked very hard to refine the TIP extension process and it is now very smooth thanks to him and he has recommendations and contacts for all types of services overlanders need. His place can get busy so reach out and book in advance. He also has put together a network of other providers in other countries to support overlanders - reach out to John, you won’t be disappointed

We spent a few days at John's campsite while exploring Lima. There is space for 3 smaller vehicles in the garage. There are several bathrooms so everyone has their own. There is also a roof terrace with a grill. Everything is clean and the shower has hot water.
John and his mother are very friendly. John speaks very good English and has endless travel tips for Peru. Together with him we went to a viewpoint close to his home where he explained a lot about the city.
We really enjoyed our time there.

wow John is a cool guy I give him a ring in the morning wanted to stop for a few day's, no problem at all, he showed me around a bit of lima and even helped me get a little repair on bracket, he even helped with the crooked cops situation as I had photographic evidence of the policeman and his vehicle to help to try and stamp it out 👍👍 you can even get your washing done at the end of the Street which is pretty cheap too , I would definitely stay again, thanks John ..

John and El Tip Viajero were amazing! I left my motorcycle here for 2 months while I went back to the US. The storage is indoors and super secure. John took care of my motorcycle import permit suspension and restart paperwork. I also stayed a night at his family's apartment which is within the parking garage which was comfortable and had a hot shower. John is super quick with communications, he speaks both Spanish and English fluently. I plan to return to El Tip Viajero on my return trip through Peru.
